Support the SES and wear Orange - Dungog Chronicle

by | July 29, 2014

It is hoped the Dungog Shire will be a bright shade of orange for SES week which will be held from next Monday.

Dungog controller Dawn Studdert said next Wednesday will be a special day WOW DAY and everyone is encouraged to wear orange coloured clothing.

“This is not a fundraiser, people are just asked to wear orange on the day,” she said.

“NSW SES and NRMA Insurance have joined forces to recognise this remarkable effort and to encourage the community to say thank you to their local volunteers.

“Perhaps have a morning tea with orange themed food.

“Be creative, build awareness and above all have fun.”

Many buildings and landmarks across Australia will be illuminated in orange for this event to support  SES volunteers.
