by | July 29, 2014
A SYDNEY man was taken to hospital after suffering a suspected broken leg at Jamberoo Action Park on Sunday afternoon.
About 3.45pm, a Sydney man believed to be in his 50s came off the toboggan ride.
SES and paramedics attended the scene, and the man was taken to Shellharbour Hospital for examination.
Andrew McCullough of Kiama SES said the man had possibly suffered a broken leg, but was unable to confirm the extent of the injury.
He said emergency services personnel experienced difficult conditions during the rescue.
“It was a really hot day and at the top of the hill,” he said.
“It was challenging terrain to walk to transport him over to the ambulance.”
