VA President thanks SES Volunteers

Dear fellow SES Volunteers

Once again all of you are proving beyond any doubt that the in the face of the worst, we are bringing out our best.

I would like to acknowledge the enormous effort so many have made – and continue to make – during this severe and ongoing weather event.

While training and teamwork will see us through, it takes someone very special to continually draw on personal reserves of strength and character in such circumstances, and we are extremely grateful for your resolve.

Thank you too to your families, friends and employers. Without your understanding and support SES volunteers would not be able serve the community in the way we do so professionally.
