Woman falls over Nobbys Beach headland - Port macquarie News

A 44-year-old Newcastle woman was transported to Port Macquarie Base Hospital on Wednesday afternoon after falling several metres down Nobbys Beach headland and on to rocks.
The woman was walking with her son along the popular Port Macquarie headland when she slipped and rolled several metres into a rocky crevice.
Her son phoned the ambulance service, who arrived at the scene and launched the hour long rescue operation. Paramedics were assisted by Port Macquarie SES personnel in the rescue.
